Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday to race and/or to cheer, and congratulations to the 20 newly decorated 2012 OBRA STXC Champions and the 40 other racers who ended on the podium! Full results have been posted on OBRA.

We like to thank:
- our title sponsor SDS Lumber Company for helping us make this event possible;
- our other generous sponsors: Camas Bikes, Sellwood Cycle Repair, Dirty Fingers Bicycle Repair, Felt Bicycles, Hopworks Urban Brewing, Nossa Familia Coffee, Hammer Nutrition, Larabar and Bob's Red Mill;
- the OBRA crew and the 20+ volunteers who did an amazing job setting up the course, getting people through registration, counting laps, marshaling around the course, and cleaning up down to the last cone.

Last but not least, a major shout to Andrew Janski, Andy Crump, Ron Strasser, Holly Howell and the Port of Cascade Locks, who were all instrumental in making the CLIMB trail system a reality and lending their full support - and a ton of energy and sweat - to make this event happen.

Thanks all and see you around at the races and on the trail!

Six Hours of Mt Hood - XC Mountain Bike Relay

Join us for the OBRA Short Track Championships 2012! Come race short track one last time this season in pursuit of single-day championship-level glory on a fun and varied loop at the new EasyCLIMB trail system in Cascade Locks. The course will feature a great mix of twisty singletrack and double track, a bunch of banked turns and rollers, and a ton of fun. About 60% of the course is under tree cover and there is plenty of passing room, even on the single track sections.

Come out early on Saturday to pre-ride the course (the course is already fully marked and we'll be out there from 1pm on), camp under the stars (we have secured a beautiful - and free - camp site next to the water), and enjoy a free MTB movie night hosted by Northwest Trail Alliance's night riding group DimWits Withbritelighs, followed by optional night riding on the course. And... bike shop sponsor Camas Bikes is planning to set up a mini skills park with skinnies, so plenty of entertainment for younger and older kids alike! On Sunday, Camas Bikes will provide free mechanical support throughout the day and their bike supplier Felt Bicycles will bring out a full-on demo bike fleet for everyone's enjoyment (note: demo bikes cannot be used for racing!).

IMPORTANT NOTE: if you raced the 20121 Portland Short Track Series and plan to race the OBRA Championships,please make sure to hang on to your series race plates and bring them with you! To make things easier on our registration crew and OBRA officials (and save some trees), we will be re-using the series plates.
