Directions
Kruger's Farm is located at 17100 NW Sauvie Island Road.
From Portland, take Hwy 30 West (towards Scappoose). At the Sauvie Island stop lights, you cross the bridge and continue onto Sauvie Island Road for about 1.5 mi.
Kruger's Farm will come up on your right (Google Maps).
Parking & Access
There will be a $5 parking fee (per car), so be smart and car-pool with friends, or just ride over to the farm on your bike!
Helmets & Dogs
Helmets are required anytime you are on a bike (before, during and after the race). Dogs of the friendly kind are welcome at Kruger's Farm, as long as they keep their owners on leash and pick up after themselves. No retractable leashes along the course please!
Course
The course features a 1.8 mile loop (with 50 feet of elevation gain per lap), exclusively on farm roads. It's a little different and a little longer than last year. There are no paved sections or singletrack, and all along the course there's plenty of room to pass riders. To get a better idea of what to expect, check out this year's course map and the various photos of last year's edition posted here, here and here.
What type of bike and tires should I race on?
While racers will be allowed to race any type of bike, we strongly recommend to ride a cyclocross or hardtail mountain bike. For tires, we recommend at least 32c wide tires that have some profile. Even when the weather is good, the course might feature some muddy or slick sections due to ongoing irrigation at the farm. |

"Ultra Farm Crit" Team Relay (Sun 9/14)
A fun 45' team relay race on a compact course (we basically will cut out the loop in the far back). Each team will be made up of 4 or more racers, with at least one woman per team. Teams will have to change racers every lap and each racer on the team has to race at least one lap.
We have room for about 20 teams. You can sign up your team via email or Sunday at registration (deadline: 1pm).
Note: for insurance reasons, only racers who raced a regular race can participate in the team relay. And please, no racing after drinking beer or other alcoholic beverages.
Race Fees
Juniors $10 - Beginners $15 - Others $20 - Second race: $5.00 -
Team Relay: $25 - Kiddie Race: FREE (but parents still have to sign a waiver)
Registration opens at 9:00am and closes 15 minutes before each race. Please schedule enough time for registration, especially if you still have to purchase an OBRA license.
OBRA Membership
OBRA membership required for all riders. Licenses can be bought online or at the race for $20. One-day memberships are available for $5.00.
Bib Numbers
We will use special series bib numbers, which you will receive at registration. Racers who race 2 different categories will receive 2 bib numbers.
