Wed 11/27 - Check out the great action shots from Sunday's races posted by Lasala Images and HotFoot Photo. Thank you Matthew and Leonard for coming out and capturing the good vibes!

Mon 11/25 - Thanks to everyone who came out to the farm yesterday to race, cheer or volunteer! The weather was spectacular, we had a record turn-out of more than 700 racers (plus another 100+ kids and doggie racers), and from what we could tell everyone had a great time on and off the course. We also received a ton of rave reviews about the new-and-improved course (including the six-pack and hay ride barriers).

A big thanks to our title sponsor West End Bikes and our other generous sponsors Specialized, Hopworks Urban Brewing, Showers Pass, Bob's Red Mill, Icebreaker, Nossa Familia and Osmo Nutrition. Also a major shout to the folks of Lumberyard and Portland Design Works for putting on the much-enjoyed kiddie race and doggie dash. Last but not least, our heartfelt thanks to Don Kruger and everyone at Kruger's Farm for the great venue and their help in making it all happen!

Results for all categories have been posted on OBRA.

In 2014, Portland Racing will organize three unique bike races at Kruger's Farm:
- the all-new Kruger's Commons Farm Relay (Sun 5/18) - a two-person two-hour relay race (details forthcoming),
- th 6th edition of the Kruger's Kermesse Farm Crit (Sun 8/24) - Portland's signature dirt crit, and
- the 9th edition of the Kruger's Crossing Cyclocross Classic (Sun 11/23).

And of course, we hope you will make it out to the other popular Portland Racing events: the 10th edition of the Portland MTB Short Track Series (Mondays 6/2 through 7/28) and the Six Hours of Mount Hood (Sun 6/29).

So make sure to mark your calendars and start figuring out your winning winter training strategy... but first, time to relax and enjoy the holidays!

On Sunday November 24, West End Bikes and Portland Racing are bringing you the eight edition of the Kruger's Crossing Cyclocross Classic. This fun AND epic race - a longtime favorite with racers and spectators alike - will take place at Kruger's Farm, located in the beautiful countryside of Sauvie Island (only 20 minutes from downtown Portland!).

This will NOT be your usual cross race! Besides the challenges thrown at us by the November weather gods, you can expect a wild course that will lead you along rutted farm roads, through berry fields, pastures, a barn, past a free-range chicken coop, and a giant sow named Mathilda.

Check out the course map and the photos, videos and race reports of previous editions to get an idea what we are talking about!

We'll have hot food at hand, catered by Kruger's Farm Market, Nossa Familia Coffee, and from 1pm through 4pm Hopworks Urban Brewery will be pouring free samples of their organic Abominable Winter Ale!

In good tradition, we'll lighten up a giant bonfire along the course to keep everyone warm and toasty, we'll have live and DJ-ed music (and continuous race announcing by Luciano), free kiddie races (presented by Lumberyard Indoor Bike Park), and throughout the day we will be raffling off a ton of prizes, courtesy of our presenting sponsor West End Bikes and our other generous sponsors Specialized, Portland Design Works, Bob's Red Mill, Showers Pass and Osmo Nutrition.

Last but not least, we'll stage another encore of the Doggie Dash CX World Championships, a wild cross race - sans bikes - for your four-legged friends of all stripes and colors (lycra dog team kits strongly encouraged!).
