2016 RACE COURSE

The course is the same as last year and consists of a varied, 6-mile loop that will feature some of the best trails that Skibowl has to offer, including plenty of fun, twisty singletrack trails. The elevation gain per lap is about 700 feet.

SIX HOURS COURSE (ONE FULL LAP) ON RIDE WITH GPS

Racers will start at the Skibowl West main parking lot and from there follow the fun and twisty South Trail towards the Multorpor/Skibowl East area, where they will loop around Multorpor Mountain. After the South Trail, riders will pass the Skibowl East lodge and do a gradual climb on the Summit Trail (rocky double-track), followed by a short climb and flying descent down Powerline Trail. Racers will continue to loop around Multorpor using the enchanting Rhodondendron Trail, and then climb out via Optimator Trail and coast down to the base of the Multorpor chairlift. From there, you will follow a fun and twisty singletrack trail along Lake Road, back towards the Skibowl West meadow, along and over the alpine slide, and down to the start/finish area, where you - or your team mate - will start the next lap.

This course has a ton of flow, the right amount of technical features to keep things fun and challenging, plenty of room to pass (everywhere along the course), and - in short - is a blast to race for all levels of racers. The single-track is relentless!
